So this is slightly off topic compared to what I usually talk about, but interesting none the less.
It appears that New York Governor George Pataki enacted a law yesterday to make the prices of co-ops in New York viewable to the public. So now someone can check the price of the unit next to them to make sure they’re not getting ripped off. But the law has one pesky side effect, celebs names can come up in the search as well, meaning their exact addresses can be found by pretty much everyone.
Now most celebs don’t use their real names when buying property to prevent this from happening, but some do. Those people are probably worried now. I’m looking at you Ann Coulter.
