Veronica Mars S2 DVD Review

In short: it sucks.

While the show remains one of the most brilliant on tv today, the dvd
leaves so much room for improvement. I would think, with the cult
following Veronica Mars has that Warner Brothers would invest a few
dollars on special features. I guess it’s just not worth it to their
bottom line.

Once again there are no commentaries(I’m sure Rob Thomas will post some later), the two featurettes are stale and the deleted scenes add nothing to the show.

If you haven’t seen Season 2 the dvd is a must buy. It’s an extremely complex season that would benefit from marathoning and having the ability to rewind key scenes. BUT, if you’re like me and have seen every episode, probably more than once, the dvd really isn’t worth it. I bought it for the sole purpose of loaning it out to friends because I believe in the show. So for that reason, it was worth it, otherwise I’d be feeling a little jipped right now.

Hey There!

This blog will gradually grow as I have more time to update it. I love television, movies and pretty much all things media related. So prepare for changes as this is very much still a work in progress. Questions or further comments? Email tvdork.
